Availability Joins Tourism Exchange

Availability Joins Tourism Exchange

Availability and its online real time reservation management systems ResBook and ResProperty are integrating with Tourism Exchange this month, opening the door for users to more distributors – and ultimately more bookings.

As Tourism Exchange approaches its first anniversary, CEO Chris Hunter says the integration of Availability with Tourism Exchange signals another important milestone and one that will deliver excellent benefits for users.

“This is great news for current Availability customers as this partnership means they can now access more distributors through the growing Tourism Exchange, including prominent distributors like Air New Zealand Holidays.

“In less than a year, Tourism Exchange is cementing a reputation as a very efficient online marketplace for New Zealand tourism products and distributors. We are enjoying steady growth and partnerships like this one with Availability are critical to this growth,” says Mr Hunter.

“ResBook and ResProperty are both very strong systems, currently used by over 800 properties across New Zealand and Australia. We’re thrilled to welcome Availability and its ResBook and ResProperty customers to the Tourism Exchange.”
Availability’s customer base is diverse, with ResBook catering for small to medium sized businesses, including accommodation providers like lodges, resorts, bed and breakfasts, homestays, small luxury hotels and motels, together with small to medium activity providers. ResProperty is targeted at property managers looking after multiple holiday homes, apartments, baches and villas.

Availability Marketing Director Gina Paladini says the partnership with Tourism Exchange provides a massive boost to the online marketplace that Availability customers are currently exposed to.

“Connecting accommodation providers, booking agents and distribution channels has been at the heart of Availability since our launch in 2001. This partnership with Tourism Exchange takes us to new heights and exposes our customers to some very exciting distributors both here and around the world,” says Ms Paladini.

The Tourism Exchange and Availability integration is currently being piloted and is expected to go live within the next week.
