Cathay Pacific Adds Flights to Europe
Cathay Pacific Adds Flights to Europe to Clear Backlog
Cathay Pacific has been doing its utmost to bring stranded passengers to their destinations as soon as possible since airports and airspaces in Europe reopened. The airline has arranged two more pairs of additional flights to Amsterdam as per timetable listed.
It has also offered priority boarding to students who sit public examinations and unaccompanied minors, and a hotline has been set up for passengers to register. As of today around 600 qualified students have had their flights fixed while we are continuing to assist others as and when seats are available.
Passengers are advised to check the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.co.nz for their alternative flight arrangements using Manage My Booking service and for the latest flight information before leaving for the airport.
Passengers who do not have confirmed bookings are strongly advised not to go to the airport as acceptance of standby passengers at the airport is not likely. Those passengers with confirmed bookings are advised to arrive at the airport about three hours before scheduled departure.
Dedicated zones are set up for different groups of passengers at Hong Kong International Airport in order for the airline to offer quick and smooth check-in for passengers with confirmed bookings and the airline appeals to passengers to follow advice from the airline staff.
New Zealand passengers without confirmed bookings should contact Cathay Pacific Reservations at 09 3790 861 or toll free (outside Auckland) 0800 800 454 for booking and ticketing arrangements.
