New Comms Manager for Destination Queenstown

New Communications Manager for Destination Queenstown

Destination Queenstown is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Andrews as Communications Manager for the tourism marketing body.

Jenny will take on responsibility for stakeholder and corporate communications for DQ on June 28. At the same time we farewell Anika Forsman who is leaving us to have a baby and will be relocating to Auckland with her partner.

Jenny brings a wealth of experience spanning many years in both private and public sector organisations.

She is a public relations and marketing specialist with skills in event management and publicity, political communications, project management, strategic marketing, and desktop publishing.

Jenny moved to the resort four-and-a-half years ago where she first managed Kidz Go Magazine for Queenstown, Wanaka and Fiordland before joining Southern PR in 2007 as an Account Director.

DQ General Manager Marketing Graham Budd says DQ is very pleased to welcome someone of Jenny’s calibre to the team.

“Her previous position means she already has a good working understanding of DQ and the local tourism industry,” he says. “Jenny will be an asset to the DQ team and we look forward to working with her.”
