Strong growth spurs office move

Strong growth spurs office move

Strong growth in its Northern business has spurred local IT specialist Optimation to shift its Auckland team into new premises in the Pier 21 Building at 11 Westhaven Drive. The move from College Hill means the company will be closer to cornerstone clients Air New Zealand and Vodafone, as well as to other CBD-based customers.

“As well as getting closer to our clients, the move is an investment in our staff with a healthy, modern purpose-built office environment,” says Verdon Kelliher, Optimation’s General Manager Northern. “Between the growth in our Managed Testing business and a number of significant new software development and integration projects, we’ve added 80 new hires over the last twelve months. So after more than ten years at our old building in College Hill, we finally had to make the move to a new space.”

Customers are welcome to drop in for a coffee and to take a look around the new office.

“We’ll also be hosting an office-warming party in June – we’ll be spicing up the winter with a Mexican theme and a few cervezas,” says Kelliher.
