Envirostate to attend 2010 GRI Conference in Amsterdam on 26 – 28 May

11 May 2010

Envirostate, a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Training Partner, is pleased to announce that it will be attending The 2010 Amsterdam Global Conference on Transparency and Sustainability on 26 - 28 May, 2010 in The Netherlands. The 3rd Biennial GRI conference is the world’s biggest sustainability reporting event, attended by over 1000 thought leaders from business, finance, government, and civil society. Envirostate’s participation in this year’s conference further demonstrates its on-going commitment to capacity building around the GRI Reporting Framework as well as being an active member of the GRI network.

As a GRI Training Partner, Envirostate aims to be a leader in providing training for organizations in Australia and New Zealand on the application of the GRI Reporting Framework after completing a rigorous certification process with GRI. This process includes on-going quality control activities and demonstration of substantial knowledge in the fields of CSR and Sustainability.

The GRI Learning and Services Team will host an exclusive GRI Training Community event at the conference on 26 May 2010. This session will provide a platform for the GRI Training Partners, Quality Control Consultants of the GRI Certified Training Program, and anyone who has attended a GRI Certified Training Course to come together with the GRI Learning Services staff. In addition to the conference, Envirostate will be participating in GRI’s Training of the Trainers Course held on 23 – 25 May 2010.
