Harcourts announces top NZ property management awards

24 May 2010: North Shore-based Harcourts Property Manager Lizzie Simanke and the Harcourts franchise she works for, Cooper & Co Ltd, have taken out the inaugural Harcourts New Zealand property management excellence awards for their performance across a range of criteria.

Their national success, announced at Harcourts New Zealand’s National Awards dinner, follows news earlier this month that they were Harcourts’ Northern region number one individual and company respectively in the new property management excellence awards category introduced by Harcourts for the 2009/10 year.

Ms Simanke achieved the Number One ranking in Harcourts New Zealand ahead of Christchurch-based property managers Tracey
Edwards and Bridgette Tapley, both from highly successful property management specialists Accommodation Centre Ltd, which was named third in the company excellence category behind South Auckland based franchise BCRE Ltd. in second and Cooper & Co Ltd at Number One.

All of the awards were announced in Christchurch at a black-tie event held on Wednesday night at the end of the Harcourts’ annual conference and attended by around 800 people who together honoured the top offices and individuals in Harcourts New Zealand, which is the country’s largest real estate group.

The year ending 31 March 2010 is the first one in which Harcourts has honoured individual property managers and offices for excellence across a range of criteria including growth in their property management portfolios, their number of lets and track record with arrears.

Ms Simanke’s win tops off a successful 12 months for the North Shore property manager who attributes her success to enthusiasm and delivering a level of service that surpasses clients’ expectations.
