International recognition for New Zealand real estate company
Combining traditional real estate
marketing techniques with digital technology and extensive
buyer networks has earned leading New Zealand real estate
agency Bayleys an international award for its outstanding
sales achievements.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors presented Bayleys with the accolade of Best Commercial Sales Agency at the organisation’s annual global market review held in Auckland this month. Bayleys was presented with the award by the institution’s Oceania managing director, Kaye Herald.
“Bayleys identified its operations as a nationwide agency in New Zealand’s key population centres as crucial to underpinning all marketing initiatives. This was one of the many factors which set Bayleys ahead of its competition,” Ms Herald said.
“It is a tribute to Bayleys that in a particularly difficult market, the company’s focus ultimately resulted in the best commercial sales figures of any New Zealand real estate agency.”
Bayleys managing director Mike Bayley said he was proud to have received the peer-recognition award in such a fiercely competitive sector of the real estate market. The award reflected such successful sales campaigns as the total sell-down of the Lincoln Road shopping centre in Auckland which saw 22 units sell consecutively under the hammer, alongside the company’s quarterly Total Property campaigns running nationwide.
“The judging criteria for this award spanned a pretty tough year for the commercial property market. However, those tough times challenged Bayleys to look at how we delivered results – not only in the marketing of properties, but also in managing the sales processes through to successful conclusions for our customers,” Mr Bayley said.
“In essence, Bayleys returned to the roots of successful real estate sales – that is, staying close to our customers and understanding how they operate, marketing to the widest possible potential buyer database, and relying on sales colleagues within the company for support, guidance and ultimately, getting deals done.
“This acknowledgement by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has been earned by the front-line sales teams, whose determination and enthusiasm for their careers is evident in the number of sales transactions concluded by Bayleys over the past year.”
Mr Bayley congratulated fellow real estate marketing agency Colliers, which took out RCIS awards for its industrial and retail sales achievements.
