A Tribe of 200,000 (Or
Thereabouts)
Who said men are a hard-to-reach group? Tangible Media has got direct access to a tribe of 199,000 (to be exact) men and boys engaged in their passion of choice, rugby or fishing – or in some cases both, according to data from the latest readership* release.
There are few things that New Zealand blokes get more worked up about than fishing or rugby. With total readership of 152,000 for NZ Rugby World and 138,000 for NZ Fishing World, these two magazines in the Tangible portfolio deliver a combined unique readership of 263,000 people 10+.
Strip out the girls and we have a tribe of men of immense proportion and influence.
Tangible Publisher, John Baker says “this is a fantastic result for both titles and full credit should go to the editorial, design and sales teams across both magazines. It is a particularly satisfying result”.
This performance comes at the same time that NZ Rugby World is named a finalist for Best News Stand Magazine at the 2010 Qantas Media Awards.
