Harcourts office opened in Auckland’s
Greenlane
25 June 2010:
Harcourts’ franchise Strategic Real Estate Ltd has opened
a new office in the Auckland suburb of Greenlane, enabling
it to expand its successful property management business and
add a boutique sales division.
Located at 2 Woodbine Rd, just off Great South Road, the new Harcourts office was opened on Monday by successful Harcourts business owners Graham Peterson and Bob Stubbs, who for the past 10 years have focused solely on building an award-winning property management business.
Mr Peterson says their company’s move to acquire Harcourts’ Greenlane franchise and to relocate there from Ellerslie follows a strategic decision to offer their existing clients – property investors and tenants - with the “complete package of real estate services”.
“We have established relationships with a large number of property investors and tenants and now we can respond to their demand for assistance with buying and selling property, as well as continuing to provide them with specialist property management services.”
As Mr Peterson explains, the new office currently has a team of 14, primarily focused on property management, but the plan is to build a small team of sales consultants alongside them, specialising in marketing and sales of investment properties.
“The new ground floor office is also larger than our previous premises, so it will allow us to increase the size of our property management team and recruit additional support staff as required, so that’s exciting too.”
Harcourts’ Head of Real Estate Operations for Australasia Bryan Thomson says he is confident the new Harcourts office in Greenlane will be a great success, providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the company’s existing clients and ensuring anyone interested in buying or selling in the popular suburb has a local Harcourts office to deal with.
“Graham and Bob run one of the largest and most successful property management operations in Harcourts and I have every confidence that both that part of their business and the boutique sales division they are establishing to complement it will flourish in their new Greenlane location.”
