Microsoft Announces Finalists for the 2010 Partner Awards

Microsoft New Zealand today announced the finalists for the 2010 Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards.

The Awards offer Microsoft Partners the opportunity to showcase work to their peers and also help to improve brand recognition, recruitment and staff retention.

“We have been impressed with the high-calibre of work that our partners have delivered over the past year and these awards give us an opportunity to recognize and reward our partners for the great work they do,” says Brent Colbert, Director, Partner Strategy at Microsoft.

The 2010 Partner Awards contains 20 awards split into four sub-categories – Solution, Individual, Partnering and Supreme. This year’s ceremony will also feature two new awards; the Partners Choice CIO of the Year Award and Business Impact Solution of the Year Award.

“We felt it was important to expand the scope of the awards this year to demonstrate and celebrate more of the top-quality work produced by the industry,” says Colbert.

The 2010 Microsoft Partner Awards will be held in the Great Room at the Langham Hotel, Auckland on Wednesday the 18th of August.

Each finalist will receive five complimentary tickets to the awards evening with extra tickets available for purchase at $149. Tickets can be purchased from the Microsoft Partner Awards website.
