Bell Gully appoints new COO

Bell Gully appoints new COO

Leading law firm Bell Gully has appointed Cecilia Burgess, the former Global Head of Client Development at global firm Linklaters, as the firm’s new Chief Operating Officer.

Cecilia has an outstanding pedigree in professional services with over 17 years working in senior management roles in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Europe for market leading organisations including PricewaterhouseCoopers. She resigned from her London based role as Global Head of Client Development at Linklaters to return to New Zealand and take up the role of Chief Operating Officer at Bell Gully.

Bell Gully Chairman Roger Partridge says the firm is delighted to have Cecilia on board in a role new to the firm. “Cecilia adds an impressive array of know-how to the Bell Gully management team. Clients and staff alike are going to benefit from the initiatives her leadership and extensive knowledge of global legal markets will bring.”
