Colenso BBDO takes over Westpac account
Colenso BBDO has secured Westpac New Zealand's valuable advertising account to deliver the next stage of the brand's development.
Nick Garrett Managing Director of Colenso BBDO said the agency is over the moon with the opportunity to work on a brand like Westpac.
“Westpac’s vision for the brand is very exciting and a wonderful challenge for us strategically and creatively,” he said.
“The chemistry with their team has been fantastic so we have high hopes for a successful relationship and are looking forward to getting immersed into their business.”
This new partnership strengthens the bank’s relationship with the Clemenger Group, with retail agency 99 already working closely with Westpac after winning its retail business last year.
Colenso BBDO and 99 will work closely together on the Westpac account as they do on a number of other accounts.
Westpac Head of Retail Marketing, Ian Moody, is looking forward to a fresh approach.
“Colenso has identified some opportunities aligned to our vision which we are looking forward to exploring,” he said.
