Day One of Ready to Run Breeze Ups Concluded

Day one of New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run Sale Breeze Ups was conducted today at Te Rapa Racecourse with 221 of the 494 catalogued lots galloping down the final 200 metres of the Te Rapa track.

With the track rated a dead 6 and a penetrometer reading of 3.3 the changeable Waikato weather went in favour of the horses that were breezing later in the day.

The four fastest times were provided by Te Runga Stud with Lot 437 the bay gelding by Markane from Mutribah stopping the clock in 10.57 seconds, the fastest of the day.

Day two of the Breeze Ups will commence at 9am again tomorrow with a full list of Breeze Up times available at their conclusion.
