Vero appoints new sales manager

Vero appoints new sales manager

Vero New Zealand Claims Services Manager Sandra Bees has been appointed to the position of National Sales Deployment and Relationship Manager. Sandra will take up the role on 8 November 2010.

Ms Bees has had extensive experience in both the New Zealand and London Insurance markets, covering a wide variety of roles from customer services, sales, underwriting, broking, claims servicing and claims management.

Bringing a wealth of practical experience and proven performance in process management and deployment, Ms Bees is a welcome addition to the National Sales Team.

“Sandra is a much respected member of the Vero Claims team and has proven herself to be very accomplished in the claims environment. She will undoubtedly bring a unique perspective to her new role,” said Ian Ewart, Vero New Zealand Operations Manager.

“In some ways this move is like returning home, with a national twist, as I spent a good part of my earlier career in the Sales, Underwriting and Relationship Management arena. The market has changed a great deal since then and continues to do so - I’m looking forward to working with Vero’s business partners to influence these changes and meet the challenges they bring,” said Ms Bees.

Ms Bees joined the Vero team in 2007 as Claims Improvement and Support Manager focussing on deploying Strategic Claims Initiatives and promoting continuous improvement. In October 2008 she took on the role of Vero New Zealand Claims Services Manager and has successfully managed the head office Claims Service Teams.
