Chalkydigits Clothing Launches Summer Release Online

18th November 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chalkydigits Clothing Launches Summer Release Online

Iconic New Zealand-made clothing brand chalkydigits today launched the first of their online ranges, available to purchase direct from their website. The special release includes sleepwear for women, a BBQ apron for men and a cute and crafty ‘chalkymigits’ range of organic cotton-lycra tees for kids, all featuring their distinctive kiwi-flavoured prints.

This release comes hot on the heels of the development of their new website and aims to offer chalkydigits lovers a chance to acquire limited edition chalkydigits product lines not offered through their stockists. From March next year, with the release of their Winter11 styles, the entire chalkydigits range will be available to purchase online. The range will still be stocked in more than 60 stores throughout New Zealand and a few in Australia for those that prefer the traditional method of trying and buying.

“We’re catering for all those people that don’t live in the vicinity of a chalkydigits stockist and really want to get some of our limited edition clothing”, says marketing manager, Teresa Scott.

Their choice products can be viewed and purchased at www.chalkydigits.co.nz

CHALKYDIGITS BACKGROUND

Chalkydigits is no new kid on the block; after a decade they’ve come a long way but their core values have stayed the same.

What started out as a casual but cool line of clothing to wear in between rock climbing has morphed into a major player in the lifestyle-fashion stakes. After ten years, they now produce a full range for both men and women twice a year adamantly maintaining they will never take their production offshore. Staying true to their roots by being made in New Zealand, they now also use their business platform to co-ordinate conservation projects aimed at protecting and restoring New Zealand’s endangered flora and fauna. They like to source their kiwiana-inspired graphics for their clothing from local artists, to keep their designs fresh and relevant. The use of high quality and sustainable fabrics such as zque-certified NZ merino and organic cotton solidifies their proud status as an eco-conscious clothing company with a difference.
