Primary Industry Gets A New Business Magazine
PRIMARY INDUSTRY GETS A NEW BUSINESS MAGAZINE
Tangible Media is pleased to announce the launch of Primary magazine, an all-new agricultural business publication that will be distributed to customers of PGG Wrightson.
Primary fills a gap in the market for a sophisticated, rural-based title that looks beyond the farm gate. Rather than focus on the hot topic of the week, it will deliver proactive, independent analysis of the major economic, scientific, political and cultural issues most likely to impact upon New Zealand’s agricultural sector in the next 12 months and beyond.
The first issue will be distributed to customers in April 2011, and every quarter thereafter. Initial distribution is 18,000 copies, with 15,000 of those copies mailed to PGG Wrightson’s customers, and the publication will also go to industry partners.
Primary is a refreshing new voice that takes a different
view of our most important industry. It launches with “The
Farm 40”; a list of the most influential people in
agriculture. Selected by a panel of experts led by Massey
University’s Professor Jacqueline Rowarth, The Farm 40
promises some surprises and controversy and will be a
must-read for everyone.
"PGG Wrightson is the foremost
brand across New Zealand rural supplies.” says publisher
Julian Andrews. “Now they’re going to reward their
loyal customers with credible, stimulating and independent
agri-business content plus a range of in-depth interviews,
engaging lifestyle content and great regular features around
leisure, travel, technology and cars.”
Shannon Galloway, GM Marketing at PGG Wrightson says “Primary will reinforce our leadership position across the broad agricultural platform. We are confident that Primary magazine will be appreciated by our customers and the industry, and look forward to a long, successful relationship with Tangible Media.”
Award-winning publisher and content creator Tangible Media produces leading magazine brands including Dish, Idealog, NZ Fishing World, NZ Rugby World, and NZ Marketing plus a range of customer publications for corporate clients including, Mercury Energy, Resene Paints and Telecom.
