New mobile commerce interface allows retailers to connect with their customers at all times

Australasian ecommerce specialists, Solutionists, have released a new mobile commerce interface which will improve retailers’ communications with their customers, and drive sales online and in store. The mobile commerce interface automatically recognises a customer’s smart phone device and displays an optimised version of the retailers’ webstore accordingly. The mobile interface includes a simplified navigation, smart keyword search, full screen use for product browsing, and a location lookup which directs customers to the nearest physical store using directions and Google maps. These features support the typical mobile shopping experience of product search; product browse and store look up, while laptop or desktop computers are more often used for product research, brand experience and purchase.

Solutionists have developed this product for their clients in order to satisfy a growing need for retailers to engage their customers and drive sales at every touch point. With the number of customers accessing websites via mobile on the rise it is increasingly important that retailers are providing an optimised user experience for their brand followers.

Solutionists will officially launch their mobile commerce interface at the New Zealand Retail Show on 6th-7th April 2011 at the Auckland ASB Showgrounds at stand A5. Registration for attendees is free and Solutionists will be demonstrating their optimised fashion webstore on smartphones, iPads and laptops. They will also be meeting for private appointments at the show, and delivering two free seminars regarding online retailing.
