"Chris Rogers' appointment comes at a time when Ektron's APAC Region is performing better than ever," said Chris Crombie, Ektron's vice president of global sales operations. "We see a great opportunity for Ektron's solutions in this high-growth region, and we look forward to leveraging Chris's skills driving our business forward."

Customer success
Ektron customers in the region include the Australian Water Association (AWA), Australia's leading water sector body; Navman, a New Zealand-based manufacturer of marine electronics and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology; the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Sydney Opera House -- which will be the site for the Ektron 2011 Australian Local User Group Meeting on May 16th -- and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

"The Australian Taxation Office has entered into a new web content management service with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services which enables the ATO to develop sites using Ektron," said Bill Gibson, Australian Taxation Office CIO.
