Telecom is pleased to announce the LG Optimus 7Q is available for purchase in Telecom Retail Stores and online at the Telecom Mobile Store from 1 April 2011.

The Windows Phone 7 device, which has been available to corporate clients through Telecom’s Gen-i business since December 2010, boasts a number of features, including a full touch and slide out QWERTY keyboard, 720p HD video recording and playback, 5mp camera and full support for Outlook mail, calendar and contacts sync.

Telecom Retail’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kieren Cooney, notes the device’ s mobile productivity is a clever fit for businesses of all sizes.

“The Windows Phone 7 operating system is designed to bring a seamless experience across business customers’ mobile and office applications. Customers can synchronise notes, and access people and information through familiar Outlook communication and Office productivity tools. The device even allows customers to remotely lock, wipe or find your phone if it is lost or stolen,” Kieren says.

Gen-i clients have already noted the device’s seamless Windows platform for businesses to develop applications which work across mobile and desktop, helps to achieve business integration.

The device also contains personal entertainment features such as integration with Xbox, easy-to-use social networking functions, and access to Windows Phone Marketplace which is the fastest growing app. store in the world.
