Paul Henry to Join Mediaworks

Mediaworks today officially announced that Paul Henry will return to the Mediaworks stable.

The popular broadcaster will join RadioLIVE as the new drive show host from July, replacing Maggie Barry who left in December.

Henry will also be working across several high profile projects on TV3.

Henry, who’s no stranger to the RadioLIVE airwaves, hosted the drive slot when RadioLIVE first launched in April 2005 and again in 2007.

General Manager Talk Brands, Jana Rangooni says Henry is one of the most talented radio broadcasters in the country.

“We are incredibly happy to have him back in the industry at RadioLIVE and we are excited about the contribution he will make to the team,” she says.

Henry says he can’t wait to get back on air.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the talented team at RadioLIVE, as well as the exciting projects that lie ahead with television.”

CEO, Jason Paris says he is thrilled with the addition of Paul Henry to the Mediaworks family.

“This was a rare opportunity for the company. These situations don't come along all that often and we are privileged to be able to take advantage of this.”
