Now Kiwi employers can SEEK you, with a SEEK Profile

SEEK has launched SEEK Profile, an online professional profile tool that gives New Zealanders the opportunity to promote themselves to prospective employers. SEEK Profile provides a platform for Jobseekers to be found by New Zealand’s largest pool of employers.

By logging onto seek.co.nz and creating a SEEK Profile, a Jobseeker can now get in front of employers who are looking for people with their skills and experience. Unlike online networking sites, having a SEEK Profile allows Jobseekers to provide more detail about the sort of position, location and salary they are looking for and attach a copy of their current CV.

Jobseekers are in complete control of their privacy settings and can choose the information they release to prospective employers who are interested in contacting them for a particular role.

A SEEK Profile allows Jobseekers to create a tailored professional profile which promotes their experience, qualifications and the type of positions they are looking for. In turn, when an employer or recruiter places a job advertisement on seek.co.nz, they can instantly access a list of profiles of people whose skills and experience match that role.

By proactively promoting themselves through a SEEK Profile in addition to using SEEK’s job search, Jobseekers can now maximise their chances of success.

“With more than 14,000 job ads on SEEK at any time, Jobseekers who combine their active job searching on seek.co.nz with a SEEK Profile have more opportunities to find the right job than anywhere else,” said SEEK Product Director Doug Blue.
