NZIPP Annouces New Chair and Committee
Auckland, 29 April 2011 The New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) has announced Talia Stephens as the new Chair in the Auckland region.
Talia brings with her a diverse range of skills and experience in the fields of commercial, wedding and portrait photography. She is also well reputed for her 50’s pinup and burlesque style photography with her successful MissTpinups.
Talia joined the NZIPP in 2008 and says it has done wonders for her business. “Being surrounded by such passionate photographers inspires me to continually push my photography to the next level.”
“The industry is constantly evolving and the technology we have at our fingertips is simply amazing. The NZIPP provides professional photographers the resources and support to improve their skills.”
“It also allows them to keep up to date with new trends in this competitive field. I am excited to take on this role and have the opportunity to help shape the industry with the support of an amazing team,” she says.
The new committee also includes Gino Demeer as Treasurer, Leanie Ferreira as Secretary, Lisa Crandall and Luci Harrison and returning members Chris Traill and Sean Dick. The committee’s goal is to deliver high value knowledge, inspiration and support to its members.
The NZIPP is the only qualifying body in New Zealand for professional photographers.
All professional and emerging photographers are invited to come along to meetings and find out more about what the organisation has to offer them.
