Harcourts acknowledged the successes of its top performing Northern Region Sales Consultants in the Harcourts End of Year Awards 2010/11 ceremony held at Auckland’s Pullman Hotel on Monday, 2nd May.

There were 22 awards received by individuals and offices. Cooper and Co Real Estate Ltd. Sales Consultant Lizzie Simanke took the title of Top Property Manager in Harcourts’ Northern region. “In light of Tuesday’s tornado in Albany, Harcourts Cooper & Co Real Estate in Milford have been very busy checking houses in their portfolio. Five of our managed properties were badly damaged and Insurance Assessors were out early the following morning. As of midday today, we now have all properties back to normal, thankfully with no injuries to report,” Mrs Simanke said. Harcourts Group NZ CEO Hayden Duncan knows how crucial it is to respond quickly and effectively.

“Harcourts manage over 13,500 properties nationally. Our teams are extremely well trained to manage any eventuality such as this week’s tornado. We are very proud of how our teams have responded to issues around the country over the recent months.” Mrs Simanke’s Manager Martin Cooper says experience for this type of emergency is what our team is trained for.

“It’s very important to know what to do and have the intuition to put yourself in the client’s position. Lizzie and the team possess all of those skills and have managed the process of repair extremely well,” Harcourts Cooper & Co Real Estate Principal Officer Martin Cooper said. “You must have a very hands-on approach; experience, the right attitude and the professionalism of your team make all the difference”. “Lizzie has a pure energy when you first meet her. With over 10 years experience in real estate she really knows how to communicate and manage properties successfully and efficiently for the client. We are very proud of her achievement,” Mr Cooper said.

Number One Property Manager for Harcourts in New Zealand for 2009/10; Simanke thanks her success to her top team. “I love my job and have a really good team and network supporting me which is really important. Lizzie Simanke also won Harcourts Top Property Manager for New Zealand. Cooper & Co Real Estate Ltd also took out the Top Office category; Property Management Excellence and Property Management Business Development awards for Northern Region.
