Rinnai Infinity manifolding – continuous hot water for big spaces

Getting a continuous flow of hot water in big places like sports clubs, shower blocks and gyms has just got a whole lot easier thanks to Rinnai.

Rinnai has introduced an Electronic Manifold System that connects individual Rinnai Infinity water heaters together to create a large water heating system.

The system allows up to 25 water heaters to be connected, making it ideal for situations where a large but intermittent demand of hot water is needed.

Once connected, microprocessors communicate with each other and individual units turn on or off to match the current demand, meaning flow from as small as one vanity tap to dozens of showers running at the same time can be supplied with no reduction in efficiency.

The system is so advanced that it rotates all of the active units, meaning over time they run for the same duration, minimising whole life costs.

And if an individual unit fails, the system will identify the failure and shut down the unit, stopping cold water from entering the system. Another unit will then automatically be started by the system to replace the one that has been shut down.

Additionally, indication of a shut down unit can be transmitted to a building management system so that a service can be arranged.
