Prices Fall Again At BP

The price of petrol and diesel again fell at BP-owned stores by 3 cents
per litre on both petrol and diesel today.

Petrol prices at most BP-owned service stations are:

91 Unleaded $ 212.9 cents per litre
95 Unleaded $ 220.9 cents per litre
BP Ultimate Diesel $ 155.9 cents per litre

BP Managing Director Mike McGuinness said pump prices in New Zealand were determined by the international price of refined petrol and diesel (purchased in US dollars), the US/NZ exchange rate, taxes and levies, international shipping costs and local operational costs.

"BP monitors both costs and the exchange rate daily and is committed to
passing on any benefits of a higher dollar or lower product costs to motorists as quickly as possible."
