Release: Harcourts
Harcourts
acknowledged the successes of its top performing Sales
Consultants at the Harcourts National Awards 2010/11
ceremony held at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre on
Wednesday, 25th May.
From the 80-100 regional Top Sales Consultant finalists, awards were given to the Top 20 in the country, with only one winning the prize as the Harcourts Top National Sales Consultant. Albany Sales Consultant Matty Ma took the title of Number One Sales Consultant in Harcourts’ Northern region a few weeks earlier.
Off the back of her Regional award Matty says she is very proud and each award is like the beginning of a new journey.
“It really does feel great to win this year and for me it is an exciting experience being the best of the best. Winning this award is a something I know every agent wishes to have their name on one day. To give credit where its due; I always tells clients my team and I are only a small part of the stars at Harcourts Blue Sky, which there are many of, all shining brightly,” says a humble Matty Ma. Matty knows the market has changed and says strong agents will show their worth through hard work now, seeing the results later.
“With my experience and having a wide range of properties on the market, I believe the market has changed. It’s a tougher market than previously but I think it is easier for stronger agents to survive, as they prospect harder in preparation for the next market change to arrive.” “I think now is a great time to prospect harder, and be more active, to prepare for the changes ahead,” Ma comments.
Mrs Ma, from Harcourts Albany, contributed to her success of being National Number One Sales Consultant with an impressive $225 million dollars in settled sales narrowly beating second place getter Alison Aitken from Christchurch City.
Harcourts Group NZ CEO, Hayden Duncan says he is very proud of Mrs Ma’s hard work and continual development of client relationships.
“Matty continues to make new, and develop existing business partnerships, always ensuring the all possibilities are investigated for her clients.”
“Matty has shown us that her knowledge, skills as a negotiator and hard work not only provide the best results for her clients, but win her awards too,” says Harcourts Group NZ CEO Hayden Duncan.
“Our consultants have a drive and determination to do their best in all they do and Matty has gone for it this year coming out on top as number one.”
In 2009/10 Ma was named No. 3 in Harcourt’s New Zealand and 4th in Harcourts Group International and this year’s award is her sixth in her 13 year career in the real estate industry.
Other 2010/11 winners were: in Number Two National Sales Consultant Christchurch City’s Alison Aitken, also inducted into the Harcourts Wall of Fame for her service to the company; Number Three National Sales Consultant Shaun Cosgrave from Hamilton Glenview who also took out Top Rural Sales Consultant and Top Auction/Tender Lister for Harcourts NZ.
