Kiwis Name Dulux the Most Trusted Brand of Paint

Leading New Zealand paint manufacturer, Dulux, has received the ultimate seal of approval from New Zealand consumers, with the Wellington based paint company named as the country’s most trusted paint brand in the annual Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Survey.

Now in its seventh year, the independently commissioned Reader’s Digest trust survey polled a representative sample of more than 500 New Zealanders, asking them which New Zealand brands they trust most.

Some of the comments from New Zealanders who voted for Dulux in the survey included: “With four painters and a paperhanger tradesman in the family – believe me I know the only brand to buy is Dulux,” and “Dulux has a great brand, longevity, quality products, great advertising. You can trust this brand”.

Julia Myers, General Manager of Dulux New Zealand, said Dulux was incredibly proud to be recognised as New Zealand’s most trusted paint brand. She said trust was a key factor in determining paint product selection.

“People need to know that the paint they purchase will not only look great, but will stand the test of time, making their homes and business better places to live and work for years to come. It’s heartening to know that New Zealanders trust Dulux to deliver that.”

Myers attributed Dulux’s success to an unfaltering commitment to providing consumers with quality, long lasting products that deliver exactly what they promise.
