Social Marketing – it’s what we do
Social Marketing – it’s what we do
A simple definition of social
marketing is:
“The development and delivery of
marketing programmes designed to influence the voluntary
behaviour of audiences in order to improve their
welfare.”
So whether you are working in local and central government are a water safety professional, an educationalist, or from the recreational sector you are a social marketer and will benefit from the experience and insights of one of the key note speakers at this years conference, General Manager for Ogilvy, Tony Gardner.
Tony is vastly experienced marketing professional and will discuss with delegates key elements to successful social marketing campaigns. Tony will place particular emphasis on the opportunities available through social media and explain why this should be a component of your organisations marketing activity. It’s a simple equation in that people are flocking to the on-line community, and if most of your target audience is there, you need to understand how best to use social media as part of your overall marketing mix.
Tony Gardner’s presentation is scheduled for Day 1 of the conference at 9.30am so don’t be late and if you haven’t yet registered for the conference do so today.
Secure your early bird registration now and save $125 by completing the registration form contained in the attached brochure or register on-line at www.watersafety2011.org.nz. Early Bird registrations close on 1 September.
