Hospitality New Zealand – a new look to match a changing industry
Hospitality New Zealand is the new public brand of the Hospitality Association. The Association President Adam Cunningham said the new look and feel is part of the ongoing story of our industry and its changes over the organisations 109 years of service. From United Licensed Victuallers Association at the turn of the century, to the Hotel Association in the 1950’s through to the Hospitality Association the organisation has continued to be at the forefront of representing the hospitality industry.
All successful businesses need to keep current and relevant as we live in a changing industry that continues to reinvent itself and the Association is no different. The Association’s National Board has undertaken a strategic review to ensure that it can carry on meeting the changing and challenging needs of its members and the industry, said Mr Cunningham.
The new brand reflects the Association’s role as the voice of hospitality and the breadth of its ever growing membership across the hospitality sector. Mr Cunningham said it’s not just about the brand as the Association will continue to grow membership, develop and build benefits to members through its regionally based advisory service, strong buying benefits, training programmes and advocacy on the industry’s behalf.
Hospitality New Zealand, as the voice of hospitality, will continue to be a strong advocate for an industry meeting the needs of not only our local communities, but our international visitors, concluded Mr Cunningham.
