HP Recognised as a Leader in 2011 Magic Quadrant

HP Recognised as a Leader in 2011 Magic Quadrant for Managed Print Services

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 31 October, 2011 – HP today announced industry analyst firm Gartner, Inc. has named the company a “leader” in its 2011 Magic Quadrant for Managed Print Services (MPS) Worldwide.(1)

In the Gartner Magic Quadrant report, HP was evaluated on its “completeness of vision” as well as its “ability to execute.”

Gartner classifies leaders as organisations that “provide MPS to a wide range of customers, including the largest and most geographically dispersed, so they must demonstrate a truly global reach. They must demonstrate not only the skills to deliver today’s MPS, but also the understanding, initiative and resources to prepare for tomorrow’s MPS. Leaders characteristically augment the full scope of MPS with a wide range of added-value services. As a result, they are frequently shortlisted by large and midsize customers.”

HP MPS is a flexible, scalable offering that helps enterprises grow their business, mitigate risks, improve workflow processes and reduce environmental impact. With more than 3,000 customers worldwide, HP MPS provides a clear path for turning printing and imaging into a vital, value-added asset.

“Organisations across a range of industries are automating document and workflow processes through HP MPS to achieve their strategic objectives,” said Richard Bailey, Vice President, Imaging and Printing Group, HP South Pacific. “We believe today’s industry analyst recognition confirms the inherent value that HP delivers to help enterprises do more with less and free up their time to focus on their core business and customers.”
