Y&R Wins HRV Account

Y&R announced today that after a competitive tender process it has won the total HRV business including strategy, creative, media, digital, and direct.

“We’re stoked to be working with the team at HRV. They have a fantastic product with substantial growth opportunity” said Jon Ramage, Y&R CEO.

“This is a great win for our team and shows the value of our new talent across the board in creative, planning and digital,” Ramage added.

HRV will use MEC, Y&R’s independent media arm for all channel strategy, planning and buying.

“We chose Y&R because we wanted a partner that had the necessary range of skills and expertise to help drive the business to the next level. We have a number of very exciting initiatives planned in the coming months and Y&R will play a crucial role in bringing them to market,” said Justin Boyes, GM Marketing, HRV.

“We are New Zealand’s leading healthy home solutions company with over 110,000 homes having an HRV system installed. While home ventilation is only a young industry, it is quickly becoming recognised as an essential addition to the New Zealand home. An HRV system is an absolute must for any family that experiences condensation, asthma and allergies or the usual host of air quality issues associated with New Zealand's temperate and variable climate,” Boyes added.

About HRV

HRV was founded in 2004 by two local entrepreneurs who remain shareholders today. HRV is the market leader in ventilation services with over 110,000 customers, a milestone achieved at December 2010. HRV is a proud company employing and contracting over 400 people, that is active in its communities in NZ including the HRV Cup national 20/20 cricket competition and co-national sponsorship of Asthma Day in NZ.
