Y&R announced today that it has won a large proportion of LG Electronics business including strategy, creative, media, digital, social, and sponsorship.

“This is a fantastic win for the team. LG have amazing products, an aggressive growth focus and lots of neat stuff in the pipeline”, said Jon Ramage, Y&R CEO.

“LG are serious about winning in every category – mobile, home appliances, and home entertainment, and we’re serious about helping them”, added Jon.

“We have a great new senior team in Josh Moore – ECD, Janisa Parag – Planning Director, Nigel Hammersley – Digital Director and Maria Ward – Creative Director, who can't wait to get stuck in”, he added.

LG will use MEC, Y&R’s independent media arm for all channel strategy, planning and buying.

“We chose Y&R and MEC because we wanted a great integrated partner with complete skills and talent across the board”, said Richard Bryant, National Marketing Manager, LG Electronics.

“We have a renewed focus on our brand with the new Life’s Good campaign being just the start. Y&R will help us ensure New Zealander’s know the innovative products we offer and how they can enhance their kiwi lifestyle”, he added.

The new Y&R and LG partnership is effective immediately.
