WOZ LIVE!
Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder Of Apple, Inc. will visit Auckland to present a world first seminar
"The Apple Story: Disruptive Innovation, Inspiration and Entrepreneurial Wizardry"
Apple, the World’s most valuable company, has transformed the way we live. Hear first hand from Steve Wozniak on their fundamental business philosophy and Steve Jobs’ legacy.
The late Steve Jobs' monumental legacy as a creative innovator has been justly acclaimed and admired by corporate chiefs and cultural historians worldwide.
In May 2012, NZ will have the unique opportunity to meet the engineering visionary who co-authored the Apple story to revolutionise industry and global communications in the 21st century.
Steve Wozniak (Woz to his friends) designed and built the first home microcomputer, Apple I, as a University of California engineer in 1976. Together with Jobs, he raised the initial $1300 that would launch one of the most inventive and successful companies of our time.
The radical mindset behind Apple's historic global conquest and transformation is the substance of The Apple Story: Disruptive Innovation, Inspiration and Entrepreneurial Wizardry.
For the first time in the world, in an exclusive seminar, Woz will share historic recollections of Apple's rise, as well as practical and philosophical insights that made the Apple dream a reality.
"The best ideas didn't come from a book. If you want to be a success, then you need to live and breathe your philosophy." — Steve Wozniak
The Apple Story . . . is a half-day event designed for progressive business leaders and management as a means to revolutionising corporate culture, introducing the notion of "disruptive innovation" to turbo-charge innovation and entrepreneurial spirit at all levels of every company structure.
"Apple is the exception," says Woz. "Apple is coming out with totally new disruptive technologies that take the world in a new direction all the time, where normally those avenues are closed off. So this is a very unusual story."
