15th Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards
April 2nd, 2012
Nominations open for 15th annual Westpac Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards
Nominations are being welcomed for the 15th annual Westpac Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Chamber CEO Murray Douglas said nominations could be placed for any Hawke’s Bay company – “no matter how big or small”.
This year there are four general categories related to size of the business and seven specialist awards, covering a range of different aspects of business performance. A new specialist category will relate to start-up businesses.
“This category will give new businesses more scope in the Awards, with no limitations on staff numbers or turnover,” Mr Douglas said.
All general categories will be eligible for the prestigious Westpac Supreme Business of the Year Award.
The 2011 Supreme winner was school furniture designers and manufacturers, Furnware. Managing director Hamish Whyte said the Awards process allowed the Furnware team to stop and appreciate their achievements.
“We all got a lot out of documenting the application as a time to formally capture what we have been doing over the past ten years and to set new goals to continue on our global journey.”
All nominations should be made to marilyn.love@hawkesbaychamber.co.nz
