PwC Reinforces Its Leading Position In Consulting
With Admission Of New Partner



PwC welcomes the admission of Scott Mitchell as a Consulting Partner, based in the Auckland office of the New Zealand firm. Scott’s appointment as a lateral recruit partner shows the firm’s commitment to cement its leading role in this sector.

Scott brings more than 20 years of commercial experience which includes strategy development and planning, corporate and financial management (including transformation, complex change programmes, and business outsourcing), and leadership. Scott was the Principal – Strategy & Financial Management at PwC Consulting UK prior to joining IBM Business Consulting Services Australia as a Partner in 2001. He then held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle Australia for three years and lately, he was the Sydney Managing Partner at Litmus Group Australia, a boutique consulting firm.

PwC Chief Executive Officer Bruce Hassall says “Scott’s admission to the partnership further strengthens our Consulting team. With Scott’s return to PwC, the firm is well positioned to help our clients respond to their unique challenges.

“Investing in expertise in this field and continuing to strengthen the skill base of our team is a priority for the firm,” adds Mr Hassall.

Scott’s admission as a partner at PwC brings the total number of partners to 110 nationally. PwC New Zealand has more than 1,300 staff across eight New Zealand offices.

Scott Mitchell will start at PwC on 23 April 2012.
