Gallipoli 2015 Pilgrimage Tours

26 April 2012

Gallipoli 2015 Pilgrimage Tours

Be in Gallipoli in 2015 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Anzac landing with two special tours now available from Tempo Holidays.

The 8-day Legends of Gallipoli Pilgrimage departs 19 April and the 9-day Anzac Spirit Pilgrimage departs 22 April, both from $4400* per person twin share.

Both packages will attend the historic Anzac Day services, taking groups as close to the battle sites as possible, and include excursions accompanied by expert historians who will explain the events that took place a century ago.

The tours depart Istanbul and include a full-day city tour taking in the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, a visit to the ancient ruins of Troy and plenty of time in Gallipoli to explore significant sites such as Anzac Cove, the French Memorial and V-Beach Cemetery.

The itineraries focus on the contributions of Australian and New Zealand troops but will also explore aspects of the British, French and Turkish campaigns.

Tempo Holidays has been organising Anzac Day packages for more than 20 years and will ensure that you get the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime event. Centenary services are expected to draw the largest crowds ever seen at Gallipoli, so you’ll need to book early to reserve your spot.

For bookings, contact your local travel agent or Tempo Holidays at www.tempoholidays.co.nz, 09 520 1490 or info@tempoholidays.co.nz. For more information, check out Tempo Holidays’ latest specials and promotions.
