Three New Specialists for Firm

Simpson Grierson is pleased to welcome two new senior associates, Libby Schurr and Bronwyn Heenan and legal executive associate, Deborah Lowthian to the firm.

Libby joins the firm's Auckland commercial litigation group after four years at Herbert Smith LLP in London, specialising in intellectual property and patent litigation. Her particular interest and experience is in the pharmaceutical sector where she is able to capitalise on her combined life sciences and legal qualifications. Libby joins the team of Tracey Walker and William Akel.

Bronwyn joins the Wellington employment group with significant experience gained both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She advises and represents clients on a wide range of employment law issues including personal grievances, the sale and purchase of businesses, restructurings, and employment agreements and policies.

Deborah re-joins the firm into the Auckland transactional banking and finance group having worked at another local practice. She has particular experience in acting for both banks and borrowers of property developments and investment properties.
