SKYCITY Awarded Silver for Best Induction Programme
SKYCITY are thrilled to announce it has been awarded Silver in the Induction category of the Best Learning section of the 2012 LearnX Learning & Technology Impact Awards.
The LearnX Foundation is a non profit organisation that recognises achievement in learning and development within Australasia. Its aim is to provide core information services to learning executives across the broader working world that supports and promotes advancements in workforce learning.
Launched in August 2012 SKYCITY’s induction programme is a blended approach to induction including the completion of compliance modules via e-learning prior to commencing work, a face to face classroom style welcome course including an innovative ‘Trivial Pursuits’ board game and supporting handbook.
The Induction Programme was the only category SKYCITY entered for this Awards with the winner of this category being BHP Billiton Mitsui Coal (BMC) which is the largest coal mining company in Australia.
An Awards ceremony will be held in Melbourne on 29 August where SKYCITY representatives will receive this prestigious award.
This is a fantastic achievement and congratulations go to the Learning and Development SKYCITY team as well as Inspire who jointly created the SKYCITY Induction programme.
