EOL Announces Ultra-Low Prices for Ultra-Fast Braodband

EOL Announces Ultra-Low Prices for Ultra-Fast Offering – LightWave

Lowest Prices in Market with Special Packages for Schools

Tauranga, 14 June 2012 - An aggressive campaign to attract ultra-fast broadband customers is now underway with Tauranga’s award-winning internet provider EOL announcing packages from as little as $59 per month.

EOL’s managing director Terry Coles says that the company’s range of ultra-fast broadband (UFB) plans, branded LightWave, will be the first on offer in the Bay and adds that the pricing model is the lowest in the nationwide market to date.

“As the Government’s UFB scheme starts rolling-out across the country, residential and business customers will be looking for the best deal so they can take advantage of this new technology. Our goal was to make it as accessible as possible through our pricing structure,” Coles says.

“Our unique, independently-owned network allows EOL to offer ultra-fast broadband and landline packages which are more affordable than any of our competitors. At this point in time, we believe our prices to be the lowest in the country, and don’t see that changing as other providers release their packages and pricing models.”

EOL’s new LightWave service is now available for residential customers from $59 per month, business customers from $69 per month, and ‘enterprise’ customers (who have multiple sites or require the fastest possible internet speed) from $499 per month. Special packages designed especially for schools start from just $199 a month.

EOL’s digital phone service called TalkHD can be added to any LightWave fibre plan from as little as $9.95 a month for home users and $39 for four business lines. TalkHD is a next generation Voice Over IP (VoIP) service which bypasses the old analogue copper lines and uses EOL’s digital broadband network to make and receive landline calls.

EOL’s ultra-fast broadband speeds will vary from 10/10Mbps through to 500/500Mbps depending on which LightWave plan is selected.

Coles says EOL is confident of attracting lots of new customers thanks to its competitive prices and there is a LightWave plan designed to suit every need and budget.

“We aim to provide people connected to our network with fast, affordable, reliable services and our LightWave product is another example of this.

“We can also offer our business and enterprise customers added security and peace of mind by combining both our LightWave Fibre and AirWave Wireless plans to provide diversity and unrivalled uptime,” Coles explains.

EOL will begin installation and ‘switch on’ of its LightWave service in June in central Tauranga. Customers can visit the EOL website (www.eol.co.nz) and search their home or business address to discover when ultra-fast broadband should be accessible in their area.
