The ‘next big thing’ just got bigger.

MEDIA RELEASE: 25 JUNE 2012

Sharp dramatically ‘upsizes’ its new interactive presentation panel. The ‘next big thing’ just got bigger.

It’s only been a few months since Sharp launched its first Interactive Presentation Panels (IPPs), dramatically changing and enhancing the way that businesses and educational institutions conduct meetings, sales presentations and lectures.

The impressive size and versatility of Sharp IPPs have made conventional presentation tools, like whiteboards and projectors, look very outdated and clearly out of touch with today’s need for more impact, more interactivity and more compatibility with source technologies such as the Sharp MFD (Multifunctional Device) range, cloud computing, tablets, smart phones and external hard drives.

Up to now, the Sharp IPP series offered 60- inch and 70-inch sized models. As ‘the next biggest thing’ is important, Sharp has now added to the series by launching an ‘upsized’ 80-inch IPP (PN-L802B). Now, with the large 80-inch LCD display as the focal point, an almost theatre-like presentation can be planned, with intricate graphics and even smaller text clearly seen at the back of the boardroom or classroom.

The integration of the high definition LCD panel and a highly sensitive touchscreen makes for heightened responsiveness and stress-free onscreen writing. And the 80-inch version comes with all the features of its smaller (but still large) IPP family members:

• An intuitive user interface, including Sharp touch pen • Editing, printing and scanning interactivity with Sharp MFD technology • Templates pre-installed for a number of whiteboard-style functions • Documents imported as images with participants making notes onto the screen • Screen content easily edited, saved and downloaded to a PC or Sharp MFD • Video/slide show presentations with a high level of sight and sound quality This year Sharp is celebrating its centenary year worldwide, continuing to be committed to innovation in business and consumer products.
