President Obama social media guru headlines conference in Auckland
Business, government and media managers will join digital and social media leaders at The PROJECT [r]evolution Conference to be held at AUT University on August 30 and 31 this year.
The conference will feature world-renowned social media strategists such as Alec Ross (the brains behind President Obama's SM election campaign and now senior advisor for innovation to the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton), Mashable editorial head Emily Banks and Google’s global ambassador, Michael T. Jones plus a host of experts from the business, media and academic worlds.
With sessions spread over two days, participants will explore topics on a conceptual, inspirational and practical level, as well as hear from leading academics and media pundits on critical issues and current trends.
Business, government and academic speakers include ReadWriteWeb founder Richard McManus, Professor Jim Macnamara (University of Sydney, former company founder/director), Professor Graham Murdock (Loughborough University, renowned media analyst), Christopher Barger of Voce (formerly with GM and IBM) and Dan Neely (Wellington Emergency Management Office).
