New Chair for Business Kapiti Horowhenua
Chairmanship of Business Kapiti Horowhenua – the organisation responsible for the annual Electra Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards - has changed to Mark Ternent.
Mark is one of the awards assessors, also Chair of the Kapiti Coast Chamber of commerce, Managing Director of Get the Best Ltd and Business Advisor and owner of G5 NZ Ltd. He has been a member of the National Panel of Evaluators of the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation.
A strategic thinker, change agent and team builder with a long history of success behind him, he has previously held business and coaching positions in a number of other organisations including Action International, and the New Zealand Navy where he finished his career as the Director of Logistics.
As BKH Chair he replaces Councillor Tony Rush who has been active in economic development in the Kapiti-Horowhenua region for many years.
