Anderson Lloyd Lawyers searching for new Christchurch site

Christchurch ¬– The largest South Island-based law firm, Anderson Lloyd Lawyers, intends returning to the Christchurch central business district, Chief Executive Richard Greenaway says.

“Ever since we evacuated our offices in the Clarendon Towers on February 22 last year and relocated to Birmingham Drive, Middleton, we have intended to return to central Christchurch one day,” Greenaway says.

“We are working on identifying possible sites and buildings now that the Central City Blueprint has been announced,” he says.

Anderson Lloyd Partner Lauren Semple, a resource management specialist, has been working as an in-house lawyer at the Central City Development Unit advising on the ‘100-day’ project.

“Anderson Lloyd are proud Lauren has played a part in creating the vision for central Christchurch and we are committed to finding the right space for our firm to help turn that vision into reality,” Greenaway says.

“Anderson Lloyd commemorates its 150th anniversary this year and we hope not too many more birthdays pass until we can celebrate being back in the central city,” he says.
