Public Trust appoints new Chief Executive

Public Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Graeme Hansen as its new Chief Executive.

Graeme has an extensive background in the financial services industry as a board member and Chief Executive, both in New Zealand and overseas where he has held Chief Executive positions in the Barclays Banking Group in Australia, Canada and the UK. In these roles, Graeme has demonstrated notable leadership as a champion of change and transformation for business improvement.

In addition, Graeme was the Chief Executive of a Statutory Body, the New Zealand Racing Board from 2004 to 2009, and led this organisation to achieve significant growth in net revenue and performance.

Graeme will start in his new role on 13 August 2012 and replaces Grenville Gaskell who was Chief Executive of Public Trust for five and half years.
