MYOB Announces 2012 Partner of the Year

Wellington and Upper Hutt based business consultant Maria Mullane of Aspire Training & Business Solutions has been named 2012 MYOB Partner of the Year in recognition of her outstanding support for the local business community.

First established in 2005, Aspire Solutions provides a range of business consultancy and IT systems support, as well as contract bookkeeping services, to a wide variety of small and medium sized businesses in the Lower North Island.

MYOB general manager Julian Smith says Maria Mullane and the team at Aspire Solutions exemplify the level of service and the breadth of support MYOB partners provide to the local business community.

“Maria, Charmaine and their team work tirelessly to help the local business community – constantly seeking to innovate and develop their own practice, while investing in a comprehensive framework of services that helps businesses improve their financial performance and enjoy enhanced growth,” says Julian Smith.

Maria Mullane, who founded Aspire Solutions as a consultant in 2005, and in joining with Charmaine Day (formerly of The Outsourced Office) has developed the business to employ a team of six, says she and her team are always focused on improvement. The company has enjoyed an average of 37% growth every year.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved over the past seven years, and in particular the recognition of this award,” says Maria Mullane.

“Our goal is to change the face of accounting by empowering people – giving them the tools to enjoy more financial control and make informed decisions about their future.

In addition to a range of accounting and business support services, Aspire Solutions has recently begun helping businesses brand and market themselves online using the MYOB Atlas website builder. The company is also widely recognised for its training and education workshops, frequently hosting free seminars for the local business community.
