ATEED South office moves to thriving business hub
A move to the heart of Highbrook’s thriving business hub will help forge even closer ties between Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development’s (ATEED) South office its key clients and partners.
ATEED’s new South office was official opened yesterday with a karakia by kaumatua Eru Thompson of Te Kawerau ā Maki. Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross, and Howick Local Board members Wayne Huang and Jim Donald attended the blessing alongside ATEED staff.
The office provides a suite of services to help local businesses including mentoring, research and development assistance, links to investors and funding sources, access to training and other specialist advice across a wide range of industries.
The new premises in Highbrook offers a more modern and business friendly space, says ATEED’s Manager Business Growth South, Yvette Hellyer, and is an exciting milestone for the South team – which has been based in the former Enterprising Manukau offices for the past 10 years.
“The new location is in the midst of a vibrant business hub which we share with many of our clients and key partners. We are looking forward to continuing to grow ATEED’s role in supporting the local business community and driving Auckland’s economic transformation,” says Yvette Hellyer.
“The more modern space allows us to provide a more suitable environment for client service, with better meeting spaces and facilities."
The move mirrors that of the Pukekohe office, which in August relocated to the town’s central business district. The contact phone numbers for the South office remain the same.
All businesses are invited to visit the new South office, and discuss with staff how ATEED can help: Ground Floor, Ford Building, 86 Highbrook Dr, East Tamaki, or phone (09) 354 0095.
