Mediaworks Radio Becomes New Zealand’s No.1 Network - Radio Survey Results Show 1.4 Million Kiwis Tune in Each Week


MediaWorks Radio has become the most listened to radio network in the country, with a 45.7% national share (All 10+), relegating The Radio Network to second place (43.3%) for the first time.*

The results are part of the latest radio survey, released today by Research International, which shows 1.42 million New Zealanders tune into MediaWorks Radio stations each week (All 10+),#

In the all-important 25-54 demographic, MediaWorks Radio increased its dominance, growing its 25-54 year old share to 54.0% (A 7.6% increase) while The Radio Network dropped to 34.7% (shedding 8.7%).^

The Edge was again the most popular radio station in the country, a title it has held now for three consecutive years,** with 460,100 listeners nationwide, over 60,000 more than any other station. ##
