It’s One Year On And We Still Believe

It’s One Year On And We Still Believe

One year on, Steinlager hasn’t forgotten the great victory of the All Blacks in the 2011 Rugby World Cup final - or our country’s support for them.

We know many fans in New Zealand will be reliving the celebrations on Tuesday 23 October, so Steinlager is encouraging proud Kiwis to send a personalised invitation to any New Zealander, asking them to raise a Steinlager on 23.10.12. Either traditionally or digitally, these post cards will be a celebration, not only of last year’s triumphant victory, but also of the team’s form in 2012 – they are Investec Rugby Championship winners, and are in sight of a world record for consecutive Test victories by a major rugby nation.

“We’ve moved on too fast!” says Michael Taylor from Steinlager. “The 23rd October will be a great celebration for New Zealanders everywhere. We believed, and we won. Now it’s time to remember, so we’ve created this special invitation to bring together fans of the All Blacks.”

And we mustn’t forget that rugby is an international game, so we must be inclusive in our celebration. Steinlager will send postcards free to anyone here or around the world – just fill out their details on Facebook, and share it with friends and family online, or you can request a hard copy postcard to be sent in the mail. Visit facebook.com/steinlager for more information and your chance to raise a Steinlager to the team.
