US stocks ended October on a soft note as
investors trickled back to work following a two-day shutdown
caused by a storm that battered the Atlantic Coast.
The
Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 10.75 points, or 0.08%
from Friday's close, to 13,096.46, after rising as many as
