One Day Left Until Zombie Apocalypse?

Today is the last day before the zombies will rise up and take over the world according to one punter who bet $90 at $1001 with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au that the world will end on Friday 21st via a Zombie Apocalypse.

Despite being the longest odds, being overrun by zombies has been the most popular bet with punters for how the world will end, with more than five times the money for that than any other option.

Another long shot of an alien invasion at $501 has also been popular.

“Punters have gone a bit zombie crazy! The majority of the bets have been $1 and $2, however one punter is really keen and has put $90 on it. Might be a bit hard for us to pay him out if we are all being chased around by zombies but we will do our best!” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.

Regardless of the zombie interest, it still looks like we will all be safe, with no the world won’t end priced at $1.001 and yes it will at $501.
